Returns & Refunds Policy
At The Golden Goose Artistry, we work closely with talented local artists who are paid shortly after an order is placed. For this reason, we maintain a limited return policy.
Return Eligibility
We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery. However, returns or exchanges are only accepted for items that are:
- Damaged upon arrival
- Defective or faulty
- Incorrectly supplied
Any issues must be reported to us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
To qualify for a return or exchange, the item must be in the condition in which it was received and accompanied by proof of purchase.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@thegoldengooseartistry.co.za with your order number, photographs of the issue, and a brief description of the problem.
If your return request is approved, we will provide:
- A return shipping label (where applicable)
- Instructions on how and where to send your package

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, or you have received the wrong product, contact us immediately so that we can assess the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom-made or personalised products
- Special-order items
- Perishable goods (including food, flowers, or plants)
- Personal care and beauty products
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before placing your order.
Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for items that are damaged, defective, or supplied incorrectly. Once the return has been approved, we will arrange a replacement where possible.
European Union Customers
If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without providing justification.
Returned items must be:
- Unused and unworn
- In their original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome of your refund request.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may require additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
